School Of Dental Sciences
The School of Dental Sciences was started with the approval of the Dental Council of India in the year 2007. A massive state-of-art infrastructure to support 100 undergraduate and 23 postgraduate admissions with the installation of 283 electrically operated chairs, laboratories, instruments, materials and the appointment of an experienced faculty has seen it to grow into an institution of repute. The institution aims to address the dental care needs of the community while providing the best dental education and comprehensive hands-on-training to its students. The institution was started with the approval of the Dental Council of India in the year 2007. From then onwards this institution has grown branched out, bloomed and born fruit in the form of producing dynamic doctors. All the hurdles in the path of development of our college were met successfully as it progressed from strength to strength. A massive state-of-art infrastructure to support 100 admissions with electrically operated dental chairs, laboratories, instruments, materials and the appointment of an experienced faculty has seen it to grow into an institution of repute. We have well equipped lecture halls with state of the art facilities. Regular continuing education programmes are conducted to keep the students and faculty abreast with the latest developments in the field of dentistry. Students get to examine and treat a large number of patients which improves their clinical expertise and confidence required for their private practice. The institution aims to address the dental care needs of the community while providing the best dental education and comprehensive hands-on-training to its students.

An eminent Paedodontist, who carries within himself a deep routed belief of continues progress. With more than 30 years of experience in teaching, administration, research and clinical experience he has an illustrious career. Has more than 110 national / international publications with 1162 citations, 20 h- Index and 33 i10 index to his credit, also has various copyrights and innovations to his credit. A teacher par excellence is a recognized PG and Ph.D guide. A life time member of ISPPD, SAAPD & IDA. Past editor in Chief of Journal of Indian Society of Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry [A PUBMED/ MEDICINE INDEXED] and has been the chairperson & resource person in various conferences / symposiums/ conventions and ranked 9th position in the productivity & quality of top 15 authors in Dental Sciences [1999-2008]. He constantly promotes the overall development of the staff and students by encouraging curricular and extra curricular activities. He is an Office Bearer of Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry and currently holding the post of “President Elect.”
