Eligibility -

First year B. Pharmacy :

An applicant shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination

by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.)

as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

A candidate to open category must have passed in the subject of

Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths/Biotechnology & English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks, taken together in Physics,

Chemistry and Biology/Maths/Biotechnology at the qualifying examination. In

respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled castes, Scheduled tribes

or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 45% as above.

Qualification in P-KAIET for BPharm. The P-KAIET for B Pharmacy

consists of three question papers. Each paper is of 100 Marks.

A candidate belonging to open category must secure not less than

50 % marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together at KAIET. A candidate belonging to backward class must secure not less than 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together in the KAIET

B. Pharmacy lateral entry (to third semester):

A pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the

Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Admission to lateral entry (Third semester) in Krishna Institute of Pharmacy Karad:

Applications will be called; merit list will be finalized based on D. Pharm. marks, followed by documents verification and provisional admission for S. Y. B Pharm. (lateral entry)
