Mr. Patil highlighted the importance of AI in transforming healthcare systems and improving patient care and clinical decision-making. He explained the role of Electronic Health Records (EHR) in maintaining accurate patient data, enhancing communication among healthcare professionals, and ensuring continuity of care.
He further discussed the applications of AI, including predictive analytics, early disease detection, patient monitoring, and workflow optimization. Practical insights were shared on how AI tools assist nurses in documentation, medication safety, and patient risk assessment. The session also covered emerging digital health technologies such as telemedicine and their impact on healthcare delivery.
The lecture was interactive and informative, with active student participation.
