KIMS- Hands-On Workshop on Drug Repurposing

The Department of Pharmacology, KIMS, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth Karad, in collaboration with Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, organized a one-day workshop on "Drug Repurposing: Bridging Computational and Experimental Approaches" on 7th January 2026 at MET Hall, KIMS Karad.

Sessions covered drug repurposing fundamentals, virtual screening, case studies, and in silico & in vitro integration, along with an interactive panel discussion. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Vandana M. Thorat, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacology.

The workshop successfully equipped participants with innovative, cost-effective drug discovery strategies, reinforcing KIMS's commitment to research-driven medical education.
