KIMS CME on “Neuro Anesthesia : Insights & Updates”
The Department of Neuroanaesthesiology, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, successfully organized its inaugural Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme, "Neuroanaesthesia: Insights & Updates," on 14th June 2026.
The CME marked the department's first major academic event since its establishment in 2023. The programme was organized under the leadership of Dr. Shraddha Naik Bahulekar, Professor and Head, Department of Neuroanaesthesiology, as Organising Chairperson, and Dr. Rahul Chalekar, Assistant Professor, as Organising Secretary.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. Yugantara Kadam, Dean, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth, as Chief Guest and Dr. Vikas Karne, Vice President, Society of Anaesthesiologists Maharashtra State (SAMS), as Guest of Honour.
The scientific programme featured renowned experts from leading institutes, including NIMHANS, Bengaluru, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai, Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai, and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. Sessions covered the latest advances in neuroanaesthesia, neurocritical care, neuromonitoring, awake craniotomy, paediatric neuroanaesthesia, subspecialty neurosurgery, and interactive case discussions, providing valuable academic insights to delegates.
