Krishna Institute of Pharmacy organized One Day Workshop on Design of Experiments for Pharmaceutical Optimization: From Screening to Response Surface Methodology

The one-day workshop on “Design of Experiments for Pharmaceutical Optimization: From Screening to Response Surface Methodology” was successfully organized by Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, in collaboration with KLE College of Pharmacy, Hubballi. The program commenced on 6th April 2026 at 10:00 AM at Namaste Hall, KVV, with a welcome note by Ms. Sayli Dange and Ms. Pratiksha Jadhav, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting and felicitation of dignitaries. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Namdeo R. Jadhav, Dean and Convenor. The technical sessions included Session I on Design of Experiments (DoE) and screening designs by Dr. F. S. Dasankoppa, Professor and Head, Department of Pharmaceutics, KLE College of Pharmacy, Hubballi, and Session II on Response Surface Methodology and optimization by Dr. V. S. Ghorpade, Associate Professor, Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Karad. Following the lunch break, a hands-on training session on Design-Expert software was conducted at the Computer Laboratory, Central Library, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth by both resource persons, providing practical exposure to experimental design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation. The program concluded with a valedictory function, followed by a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Sandhyarani A. Kanunje, Coordinator.
