Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences is organizing XLth Annual National Conference of Indian Society for Medical Statistics (ISMS) from 24 to 26 November, 2022.
This Conference will offer an opportunity to discuss recent developments in Medical Statistics, Epidemiology, Artificial Intelligence and related areas basically required in conducting researches.
First Announcement
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We are very much pleased to announce that XLth Annual National
Conference of Indian Society for Medical Statistics (ISMS) is being hosted by
Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Karad from 24 to 26
November, 2022 with two preconference workshops on November 23rd.
KIMS, a constituent college of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences
“Deemed To Be University” (KIMSDU), Karad, Maharashtra, offers UG, PG,
PhD, MCH and DM programmes. Statistical expertise for all the kinds of
researches is provided by Statistician from Dept. of Community Medicine,
KIMS.
KIMS is located in lush and beautiful campus of KIMSDU on Pune –
Banglore National High Way in Western Maharashtra, India. Karad town is
well connected by rail, road & air. The nearby Karad Railway Station is at 8
kms distance from KIMSDU. The railway station is well connected by daily
trains from Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Delhi, Goa, Bangalore, etc. The major
closest airport is Pune (170 kms) and small airport is Kolhapur (75 kms).
Karad is having enough number of hotels providing good to best
quality accommodation in the distance of 5 kms from KIMSDU Campus. The
temperature of Karad in November is comfortable; average 240C.
The THEME of the conference is:
Intersection of Medical Statistics, Epidemiology and Artificial Intelligence in Health Data Modeling
However Conference will cover a wide range of topics usually researched in medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, Pharmacy and allied science disciplines.
Pre-Conference Workshop:
Two parallel Workshops are planned to be conducted on 23/11/2022
1. Statistical Methods for Medical Research
2. Applications of Survival analysis in Medical Research
